About RainwaterIQ
RainwaterIQ is an independent rainwater assessment for Austin homeowners. Enter your address and we estimate how much rainwater your roof could capture in a year, from public data and your building's footprint, before we ask you for anything.
We're not a contractor
We don't install systems and we don't sell hardware. That independence is the point: we can show you what your property can do without a sales pitch attached. If you decide you want quotes from local installers, you can make that call, and it only happens if you ask.
The math is documented
Every number is computed, not guessed. We use NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normal for Austin rainfall (the Austin–Camp Mabry station, about 36.25 inches a year), the Texas Water Development Board's standard capture math, and City of Austin 2023 building-footprint data where it's available for your address. When measured footprint isn't available, we fall back to an estimate and label it on your result.
Claims stay honest
Rebate and regulation details carry a source and a last-verified date. We never guarantee eligibility, a specific rebate amount, or drinking-water suitability. Incentives change; we tell you when each figure was last checked and ask you to confirm current terms before purchasing.
